There are certain key points you should keep in mind to create an online course out of your blog.
Select your Online Course Topic
While turning your blog into an online course seem to be unrealistic an idea it is also not impossible as some of you might think. Transforming your blog into an online course takes more than simply knowing the subject. The challenge involves evolving the content out of something you know and master. The first step to the process involves coming up with a topic. A good topic. You cannot have generic content in a course like in the blogs. You have to get into the nitty gritty of the subject and be more specific.
Design the Curriculum
I am not in disagreement that the blog doesn’t need a direction. Both blog and a course need the direction. Hence it is very important to design a curriculum for an online course. A Curriculum design that mainly aims at easy learning for the students; Chapters that conveys the course content to the students in a simpler fashion.
Gather Visual Content
Unlike blogs, you cannot get away with simple text content when you are creating online courses. A strong visual content is a must for your online course.
Do not duplicate your blog content in your online course.
Your blog should convey the content of the course but your course should not deliver almost same information that your blog contains. An online course must always contain deeper details than a blog. Also, your course should contain more illustrations and examples.
