By knowing what they are looking for, you can solve their problem and build a rapport with them.
Here is a trick to know what students are searching for in google.
Now, suppose you are teaching class 11 physics, simply type “class 11 physics” in google. You will notice the questions below:
All these student questions like “how can I study physics 11” are ideal blog topics you can write about to get students.
The strategy is to find such long and specific queries students ask in google and blog about them.
To help you find these types of questions, login to this tool called ubersuggest and type in your search term: “class 11 physics” and select keyword ideas.
There are 369 keywords returned. You can use the filter with the values (shown in the image) to get a solid list of keywords for your blog.
Your ideal keywords will be one with a low SD score (<35) and has a high monthly search volume (>50). Below are the results.
For ex: in my blog, I can write exam tips on how to study class 11 physics and use it to solve my students’ problems.
Use this strategy to identify student keywords that have > 3 words and are really specific.
Your student will find your blog by reading the title and description of your article.
So, you need to make sure that your title and the description contains the student search term and is also very attractive to click.
So, here is how you can do it. Go to ubersuggest, click on content ideas and type in your query.
For ex: in my case since my students want “exam tips” for physics, i will use ubersuggest to which “exam tip” titles are most trending in social media.
So, some of the catchy titles that was popular in social media are:
Now, I will mix and match my keyword with these titles.
Please note that the title you create sounds meaningful to your students. Use colon or commas to make your title readable.
Your blog introduction should connect with your students right from the start.
Your focus should be to write your blog naturally & to the student pain point.
The best way to write naturally, is to write as if you were talking to a student 1-1 about the topic.
Think about the student journey, his/her issues and then write your topic.

So, make sure, your subheadings are simple and sensible.
One good way to create subheadings is to use a mix of keyword & keyword synonyms.
For example: if my student keyword is how to study class 11 physics?
I can look for synonyms for study, like: learn, read, note, revise, cram, understand etc

A conclusion is a great opportunity to help your student to take a positive action.
It could be asking the student to sign up for a free course or take a quiz that will help them recap the basics.
It is also a place where you can interact with your students and get to know their thoughts about your blog.
